Danish Aerospace Company (former Damec Research ApS) was part of the Ørsted Satellite Project design team, which developed a micro satellite for research of the magnetic field of the Earth.

Danish Aerospace Company was responsible for the development, manufac­turing and test of the subsystems Attitude Control System electronics, ACS Magnetorquer Coils and Battery System.

Ørsted was sucessfully launched on February 23, 1999.
